Positive: Location. Parking. Bar & restaurant. Staff. Rooms were nicely finished. Breakfast was fantastic.
Negative: Room was too small. Shower and toilet are within the bedroom; no separate bathroom. No wardrobe or draws. Door for our room wasn’t well fitted therefore allowed sound and light through the bottom of our door, from the communal hallway, which wasn’t ideal, and didn’t feel safe. Someone tried to get into our bedroom twice in the night. Could have been another guest but at 2am I’m unsure. There needs to be better fitted doors, more secure locks (they’re flimsy) and some thought around floor layout. Hopefully, other rooms are better. I wonder whether we had the smallest room at the property, which is a shame as my wife and I were staying for my 30th birthday and we informed them of this in advance.
