Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a very beautiful property and has a lot of character. The garden is very private and our little boy had plenty of room for playing. You have a front and back garden. The back garden is quite big and has a nice seating area and gets the sun most of the day. The WiFi connection is also pretty good which was handy as we had little to no phone signal there. The beds were very comfortable and so were the sofas in the living room.

Negative: There are a few things just to feedback. The main fridge door didn't close properly and they placed a piece of wood between the handles of the fridge and the freezer to stop it swinging open which still didn't make it close all the way so the fridge wasn't as cold as it should have been. The fridge drawers in the kitchen also didn't work so we were not able to use them. The oven doors were very difficult to keep closed as well. Only 2 of the 5 hobs worked on the cooker. That was a bit tricky when you need more than 2 pans on the go at the same time. One thing I think would be handy in the kitchen is a microwave. It would also have been nice to have a heads up about someone coming at 9.30 in the morning one day to water the garden. Didn't knock to let us know just walked straight round to the back garden where we were sitting in PJ's which felt a bit awkward. Overall I would stay again but I'd hope the appliances are in full working order. Especially given the price you pay.
