Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A beautiful location surrounded by history and nature. Even though you're by a main road, it's a good way back and you don't even notice it. A very luxurious room, where everything had been thought of - better than some top hotels I've stayed at. Very friendly hosts who know exactly when to engage and when to leave you alone. Breakfast was superb in both taste and presentation.
Negative: Nothing really. I can see that the very elderly or infirm might struggle with the few stairs to the bathroom but it wasn't an issue for me, despite being quite elderly myself. Besides, it's all part of the authenticity of the place.
Summary: Absolutely perfect, with a luxurious room and breakfast in a beautiful location.
