Positive: We had a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of the apartment. The host was very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. He kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated, and whenever we contacted him, he responded quickly. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed, with much more than just the basic essentials. Although it isn’t modern, it has a charming, traditional style that adds to its character. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would happily recommend it to others.
Negative: The only downside for us was the location. If you have a car, it wouldn’t be an issue, but without one it was quite challenging, especially with young children. It’s around a 40-minute walk to Varenna, with plenty of uphill and downhill sections. There are a few shortcuts that make the journey a little easier if you can find them, but overall it wasn’t the most convenient location for getting around on foot.
