Summary: Winíka Alterra is a small, family owned hotel and resort. The property consists of eleven private cabins. They’re very well maintained and with all the amenities. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, and detailed oriented. All the meals were delicious, fresh, and locally sourced-made from ingredients found at the hotel’s on site farm. (They even make their own chocolate which is used in the duck mole, desserts, or served hot). The beds and bedding are very comfortable, The quiet, jungle environment makes for a restful stay. Our only suggestion would be to invest in entertainment options during rainy days, such as a ping pong table, card games, or family friendly board games.
