Positive: We had a wonderful time at The Coach House. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with thoughtful touches throughout.  Plentiful hot water, great pressure shower, good WIFI signal (we streamed Netflix with ease), thoughtful extras like dog bowls and towels. Everything for an easy and luxurious stay. The 8 acres of grounds were beautiful too and there is a driveway around the back of the Coach House to park. (Despite previous reviews, we never had any issues getting in and out of the gate and we have a large estate vehicle). All 3 of us received a warm welcome on arrival from Roger and Ian. We were treated to blackberry jam/fresh flowers from the gardens, tomatoes from the greenhouse, a loaf of fresh bread, Cornish butter and a gorgeous coffee and walnut cake! Roger had even asked what milk we liked so we could have a cup of tea on arrival. There was tea/coffee, toilet paper, and dishwasher tablets to get you going and we arranged a Waitrose delivery for the next day. We cooked every night and had all the pans, and utensils we needed. We even had a roast dinner on a Sunday evening. It was great to have the dishwasher too so we didn’t have to do the washing up! We brought along our dog and she had the time of her life! Situated just a 5-minute walk from Lantivet Bay and the South West Coastal Path, the location is absolutely perfect for those with dogs or those who love to walk. Peace and quiet is very important to us when we are on holiday and The Coach House gave us this in spades. The grounds are next to a very quiet country lane and other than the odd car going past during the day, it was extremely peaceful. So quiet in fact that we heard an owl as we were falling asleep! It was the perfect holiday for us, and the cherry on top was what wonderful hosts Roger and Ian were. We knew they were just a text away but they never intruded on us and left us to it. Thank you both for the most wonderful holiday! We will be back!
