Summary: The cabin was just what my husband & I were looking for. There were no neighbors, no sounds of people or traffic and no city lights. Just the sounds of nature and the light from the moon & stars. We enjoyed walking around the many trails, the pond & the beautiful scenery. One morning we saw a deer feeding her newborn fawn. We enjoyed coffee & breakfast on the screened in deck. There was plenty of room for our dog to run freely. It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. If you’re looking for a place closer to town or food, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of life, then you will love this place! The road up the mountain to the cabin was narrow & curvy and took about 30 minutes. We personally enjoyed the beautiful drive but others might not. There is a gate to get to the property which we knew nothing about & it required a code to open. We called the host & he quickly gave us the needed information. We truly enjoyed our stay & hated to leave the peace & quiet!
