Positive: The location is nice, it's near to the slope. Can see the view of Val Thorens. It's good for the view and very near to the market and restaurants and cafe.
Negative: 1. It was very difficult to find the property. When booking, the exact location is not shown. They only provide the location after arrival, which is very inconvenient. 2. It is not convenient for foreigners who do not have a local phone line to call and ask for the exact location. The address provided is not the precise location. I had to ask someone nearby to help me call the property directly for directions. Google Maps could not find the place either. The property should provide the building name and exact location before arrival, not after. I also had to send multiple messages just to get the correct information. (The check-in time is very late at 4 PM, and even though I arrived earlier and the room was clearly empty, early check-in was not permitted). 3. The room did not provide basic items. There were no napkins/tissues. Although there is an electric stove, there is no pan to cook with and no kettle or teapot to boil water. This makes it very inconvenient if guests want to buy food and cook in the room. 4. There was no hairdryer and no proper toiletries like most accommodations provide. There were only two tiny bottles of shampoo in the bathroom. There was also no trash bin in the bathroom — only one in the toilet area, and the plastic bag was not even placed properly in the bin. I had to fix it myself. 5. The pillow quality was very poor. It was too soft, too thin, and seemed very old. The bedding, including the bed sheets and blanket, did not feel clean enough. 6. Overall, it is not worth the expensive price charged. If the property provided the basic amenities mentioned above, the price might be acceptable. Without them, it is definitely not worth the money. 7. The check-out time is very early at 10 AM, which is quite unreasonable considering the late check-in time of 4 PM. Most other accommodations provide check-out times around 11 AM or 12 PM. 8. It is not very convenient to bring luggage to the entrance because there are stairs.
Summary: The area itself is good, but considering the lack of basic amenities mentioned above, the stay does.
