Positive: The location was convenient for where I was working
Negative: The listing never stated I would be staying in a spare room in someones family home. The listing mentioned "Guests at the homestay can enjoy a Full English/Irish or an Asian breakfast." I wasn't offered any breakfast, when I asked about making a drink (there was no kettle in the room) I was told they could get me the one from the kitchen, this seemed awkward so I declined. The listing says there's private parking available on site, then I was told to park on the street. There's a massive cot in the room, blocking the bed on one side, no bedside table or lamp (as pictured) I'd advise the owners rethink the room layout or take the cot down when not needed. I've stayed in people's homes before on AirB&B, but I've normally spoke to the people before and am prepared for that, and they're more prepared for guests. The cost is normally around £30 to £40 this was £50 the price of a chain hotel. It would be a lovely place to stay, just needs more thought and accurate listing.
