Positive: The location is heavenly, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We almost ate every meal on the large balcony. There a so many animals to see - very attractive for children. This is a working (and I mean working) farm and there are lots of tractors and machines and farm activities and livestock and the aroma associated with all of that (which I personally happen to love and enjoy). . The hosts are very friendly.
Negative: If you are coming from the United States and are unfamiliar with German countryside the following you should be aware of: If it says "toiletries available" it means towels, not shampoo or conditioner etc. The cooking surface is ceramic with touch-controls - not gas or induction - you'll figure it out. There is unfortunately no microwave to warm things up - I hope they will add that soon- even a small one would be very helpful. The TV plugs into a cable box and both are controlled with separate remotes - I could not get all the basic channels to work. I did not see a sauna but I did not spend a long time looking.
