The Chestnut Cottage is our honeymoon suite one king bed, full bath, kitchen, Keurig coffee with starter kit, living room with smart tv, and Wi-Fi. Private porch and firepit with rocking chairs facing the river. We are located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, and Waynesville. Summary: I flew to Asheville to attend the memorial service for a dear friend of mine. I wanted to honor him and be there for his wife and family. At my friend's suggestion, I booked King Bed Cottage # 5. It was perfect. It was "tiny' but was all I needed. Everything was as advertised, although they undersold the property. Steps away from my back door was a peaceful flowing river. The home is on almost 20 acres, all the space you need to walk as much as you want in absolute peace. There were no sounds but nature. I got my walk in every day, my meditation time at the river, and was able to attend the service and fellowship with a peace I could not have had with a hotel room or a typical VRBO. The hostess, Nylenda, was responsive almost immediately and permanently gracious, even when I had to call at 10:00 pm because I was almost lost. Truth was, I was 200 feet away, headed in the wrong direction and she got me back to the property so very graciously. She truly has a heart of hospitality. If you're in the Asheville area, don't even think of staying anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.
