Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The setting is beautiful and the grounds are really well maintained, always people cleaning and taking care of the area. The pools are great, generally well maintained and never too busy, as is the private beach. The resort is compact and feels very safe. The trees give wonderful opportunity for shade and cool. Very short stroll to local shops and cafes.

Negative: The rooms are fine but are basic and small. Cleaned to a good standard daily but no tea or coffee with the kettle, very basic toiletries etc. I was really disappointed with the food, it lacked variety and is just not the standard I would expect for a hotel resort, certainly not 5 star. The lack of drinks other than water at dinner I think is really poor. Similarly at breakfast there is a coffee machine that only works on occasion. Staff in the dining areas are quite sullen and do not take care of the food, do not replenish food, take care of spillages etc.

Summary: Wonderful location, but food was disappointing
