The centre of West Looe can be reached within 5 minutes on foot and then it is a walk over the bridge or a trip across the river on the ferry to the hustle and bustle of East Looe. Guests will enjoy watching the comings and goings on the river from this modern apartment.There is a reserved parking space to the rear of the building for a small sized car. Summary: The listing for this apartment is very accurate - there really is no wifi. There really are lots of steps down from the parking space and then up to the flat. It is also a decent walk over to East Looe and back but none of this was a problem for us. The apartment was lovely - very clean and had everything we wanted except a decent space to hang some clothes up. We had some TV problems (European cup was on so we wanted to watch some games, but not in a pub) but they were fixed very quickly by the property managers. The location is quiet, the view from the windows is spectacular and we were able to visit lots of places by bus and car. The beach is also very clean and there are loads of good places to eat, for all budgets. Finally. The parking space. We have an A1 and found the space incredibly tight - it's up against a wall on the passenger side and the passenger has to get out before going into the space. But it's similarly tight on the driver's side and if there had been anyone in the space next to us, I don't think the driver would've been able to get out! Seriously I'd say if you have anything currently described as a 'medium' sized car, it's a challenge. Big cars, no way at all. However, there is free parking on the roadside right up to Hannafore point, athough it can get busy on there. Also, for loading/unloading, we recommend bagging a spare space in the Rock Hotel car park across the road but that is a private space for hotel guests, so it is a bit cheeky, but doable.
