Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The staff was so accommodating. I was traveling for business and was going to have a late check-in. The staff assured me earlier in the day that they would be there for my arrival and everything would be ready. It was an absolutely amazing experience after a very long day working. And a dream location on the ocean at an extremely reasonable price. I will be coming back with family and friends possibly booking a block of rooms to spend more time here in this beautiful Oasis on the ocean in Montauk.
Negative: The room needed more lighting. There was no lights in the little kitchenette area and there was no light switch to turn on lights when you walked in the door you had to walk across the dark room to actually physically turn the lamp off. This is an easy upgrade that would make a big difference. Also given that there was a couch and a nice spacious area even though I had a clean size bed room, it would have been helpful to have a coffee table or some kind of table in front of the couch.
Summary: Perfect, relaxing, beautiful ocean front Hotel not super fancy just enough.
