Positive: We stayed in the basement apartment so we could have a private bathroom. But this was a terrible apartment. It was very small, and the bathroom was dingy and uncomfortable to be in. The only saving grace was the nice patio outside. There was also a shared apartment upstairs, and that one looked a lot nicer than the one we were in. One thing to note if you do stay here, the keypad to get the key is on the side, through the gate, and on the side of the house. The host did not make this clear to us, so it took a while to figure that out. The apartment is quite a ways from the trail and from restaurants. I would not stay in the basement apartment again. I think this place needs some updates to make it nicer. Again, the upstairs apartment looked a lot nicer, but is a shared space.
