Positive: The hotel has a great location, a lovely terrace, friendly staff, and the room was clean. The breakfast was good, and the delicious coffee was definitely a plus.
Negative: Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the room description. The listing stated that the room was on the first floor, but in reality it was located in a semi-basement. The air felt heavy and damp, with a noticeable smell of humidity. The window was very small, and opening the door for ventilation was not possible for security reasons. The room was also affected by unpleasant outside smells: scooter exhaust fumes from vehicles parked nearby and the smell of rubbish from the nearby bins. Most importantly, the room simply did not correspond to the description. We asked to be moved to a first-floor room, but the hotel refused to do so free of charge. We then contacted Booking.com and requested either a room change or a partial refund, but received no response. Apparently, the hotel understood that we were unhappy with the situation and offered us breakfast free of charge, which we appreciated. Overall, despite the hotel's positive aspects, the discrepancy between the advertised room and the actual conditions left us very disappointed.
