Positive: Mostnica cottage is a large 3 storey house within the village of Stara Fuzina, 20 mins walk to Lake Bohinj. We loved staying in an authentic village surrounded by rivers, great hikes and friendly locals. It has lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax in as well as a large laundry. There is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away and a couple of good restaurants.

Negative: It would have been nice to have soap and shampoo in the bathrooms! And we also didn’t have enough toilet paper for our 4 day group stay so we had to buy more. Not great especially when you pay a lot of money to rent the house!

Summary: Authentic village stay in a great house.
