Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Nice bedrooms, albeit with sloping roof, so not great if you are tall. Very quiet location. Easy to park outside. Clean and tidy and great to see original art on the walls.
Negative: Location not very convenient as you have to cross the river at Bayonne to get anywhere, so it adds a lot of time getting in and out. We arrived and were instantly disappointed with the presentation of the outdoor area. Lawn unmowed for months, so long grass, enormous weeds everywhere, outdoor furniture just haphazardly placed - not set up. No cushions or umbrella. Soap and shower gel dispensers empty. Kitchen is tiny and there is only a microwave and cooktop and tiny fridge. No microwave cookware to use, pots missing handles, no electric kettle or chopping board. I sent an email on arrival as they ask you to let them know of any issues and only got a reply 3 days later. Not really good enough.
