Positive: Great location ... just sit and watch the sea and the world go by! Nice decor. We had an initial problem with the heating not working on the first day but this was rectified as soon as we made a call. Thank you Shane!
Negative: There were several problems we noticed, most of which should not have been encountered if a basic check was carried out between bookings: There was rubbish under the sink when we arrived. The kitchen fridge had not been cleaned out and the larger drinks fridge in the dining area was dirty. Cutlery in the kitchen drawer was also dirty. There was no bread knife, nor were there any non-metal bowls to use in the microwave. The extractor fan in the cooker head does not work. The shower head in the second floor bathroom needs reattaching as it sprays out sideways. Bedside lights in first and second floor twin bedrooms are faulty (they are faulty are are not just due to blown light bulbs). Various other lights are not working throughout the house. There is no blind over the Velux window in the attic bedroom. There is a slat missing in the shutters in the master bedroom. There is also extremely low water in the attic room – only a small dribble of water comes out. Overall, a nice place to stay but too many faulty items due to lack of care.
Summary: Nice location (if you don't mind noise) but needs a little more love and attention between bookings
