Positive: Okey, how to review a holiday that has far exceeded your expectations? Honestly we didn't have too much expectations, however, one can not expect a holiday this great! First off, communication; wonderful, great host with whom we can honestly say we have become friends with during our stay. Location; terrific, if you like feeling king/queen of the region, this is the place for you. On top of a hill, secluded yet close to everything worthy in the region. Accommodation; charming yet comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove, full oven and amenities. Bedroom is very large with double bed and a bathroom with lovely shower. There is even a second toilet if you need it. Private large terrace with great view, also at night, the stars; heavenly. The garden is the complete hillside with different levels. Expect romantic seating places on every level of the hillside. Nature; wonderful. Even from the balcony we saw small deer roaming the hill side. There are ample walking and cycling routes in the vicinity. From the apartment it is possible to walk to the nearest town of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. Activities: We have done some awesome activities thanks to the hosts Maja and John. We've been to Autoire and have a great walk in the hills/mountains, which features a cascade and an old English castle ruin. A recommendation is also to take a canoeing trip over the river Dordogne.
Negative: Nothing, weather was great, we didn't feel like missing anything.
Summary: Wonderful, a holiday to remember for generations!
