Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The pool was lovely and the house itself was comfortable. Nice to have a bakery, coffee shop, and the beach within walking distance.

Negative: The house was mostly clean but there was one part of the baseboard/floor/carpet in one of the bedrooms along a back wall that clearly had been forgotten about and seemed layered in dust and cobwebs. Beds were not that comfortable but we made do. On our second to last day, the toilets were not flushing well and someone from the local Vacasa team came out to confirm that there was a septic system issue. We were moved to another property for the last night of our trip (had to pack up a toddler and a baby and move, mind you) and, ironically, the toilet in that unit did not flush properly either (but for a different reason). We were verbally offered some financial compensation for the disturbance but then could not get ahold of anyone to confirm the partial refund after our stay - we had to communicate by texting Vacasa and always got a response to the effect of "we're checking with the local team" rather than being able to connect with the local team directly - it was unnecessarily annoying to do.
