Established in the 1840’s, Jim McGee’s guest house is located in Wexford city center, just 22 minutes’ drive from Rosslare Europort. It features a bar and a sun terrace. All rooms at Jim McGee’s are nonsmoking and feature an private bathroom, a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV. There are also ironing facilities that are available upon request. There are also ground floor rooms in our courtyard, located away from the bar area and road noise, some rooms have their own private entrance. Positive: It was a very comfortable night. Room was clean and large as well. It was my 1st time in that pub as I used to visit Wexford a lot to visit a friend in the past. It was a last minute decision booking as I'm glad that I did it. Good value for money and closer to town just 15 mins walk to train station. It covers all mod cons ranging from kettle to tv et al. Shower was bit strong but felt better afterwards. Will visit that place again when I get the chance to visit Wexford.
Negative: Hot water went out fairly quick 6am as I used to a lot before I left that place. But no big deal. It does happen in some places though.
