Summary: The auto check in is great - when it works. If a problem, good luck! We had an air flight cancellation due to the war, and had to travel by train from Berlin, missing the first night. When we found out, we contacted bot the property and Hotels.com. And got a runaround. Each said their hands were tied by the other. So disappointing. I will deal directly with hotel websites in the future.
