Positive: The owners were VERY HELPFUL and RESPONSIVE. The photos online look exactly like the apartment. One of THE CLEANEST PLACES I’ve ever stayed and very peaceful and surrounded by nature. As a solo female traveler visiting the island for the first time, I felt VERY SAFE, mainly because of the kind host Ms. Patsy and her son as well.

Negative: I read the comments about the hill but they are an UNDERSTATEMENT! I didn’t feel safe driving up such a steep slope it was scary, once I took a taxi and the driver who is from St. Maarten advised that if it rains I should not walk or drive up the hill. Additionally, he was in a stick shift and we rolled back once so if you stay here rent an AUTOMATIC drive CAR. It’s located on the French side, all of the fun activities/nightlife and popular restaurants are on the Dutch side.
