Positive: Staying at Haus Lasaun was one of the best experiences of my life. First of all, the host family, Daniel and Heidi, are incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us with a warm smile. Secondly, every morning there was a rich and delicious breakfast — the scrambled eggs were made with eggs from their own farm, and sometimes we even got to enjoy cakes baked by Heidi herself. In addition, the room was very clean and tidy, and every time we came back, our room had been freshly cleaned and tidied up again. Meanwhile, their farm has its own sheep and chickens, as well as lots of fruits and vegetables growing — it was really fascinating. Finally, the location is excellent: it sits on the slopes of Plose, only less than a 20-minute walk to the cable car, and on clear nights you can see a spectacular starry sky. If I ever come back to the Dolomites, I will definitely choose this place again — it was absolutely an experience beyond expectations.
Summary: Ever-wonderful experience, 100000% recommended!
