Summary: I was only in for one night, sadly. The owner met me when I arrived and immediately wanted to know what I wanted for breakfast and when I told him that I would be gone before breakfast time, he seemed genuinely disappointed. He offered pastries for me to take in the morning and when I told him I have a gluten allergy he offered homemade chocolate chip cookies that he made gluten free. I accepted and when he came back with them, he also brought back a slice of almond cake that I could eat too! He took the time to show me around and tell me a little about the history of the house, despite me checking in after 10pm. I was shown hospitality when I really needed it after a long travel day (with flight delays) from the west coast. Thank you! Keep making people feel valued and important. Cheers!
