Positive: Location of the cottage is perfect, walking distance to the pretty town with parking for 2 cars. We arrived early and the cottage was ready with a thoughtful welcome pack. We had a great weekend with the weather and would have been lovely to sit in the garden and have a bbq but the outside area and furniture was broken and dirty including the area around the hot tub. So much so it put us off even using the hot tub. There was a table and chairs but it was put away covered in cobwebs. The bbq had green mould growing inside. We were also disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen and utensils so decided to eat out in the nearby pubs and restaurants instead which were delightful. The single beds are made for small children. The mattresses have no support and have noisy waterproof mattress protectors on which made sleeping a challenge. Thankfully the location of the cottage made our weekend one to smile about but the cottage is not a place we will miss!
