Positive: We spent a wonderful three days in this large countryside house for a 2-family get together with friends. The house exceeded all our expectations: very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail. It's clear that the hosts truly care about the comfort of their guests. The views from the windows and patio are an experience of their own, different in the morning and evening, but always stunning. We especially appreciated the warm welcome - a basket of food was waiting for us upon arrival. The kitchen is very well equipped and has absolutely everything needed for cooking. There's also a nice café just a three-minute walk away. The house also has a laundry room with a modern washing machine and dryer. While the garden in front of the house is not a part of the property, you can still enjoy it visually, and there is a nice playground about 5 minutes away, which is great for kids. We felt comfortable and at ease. This house is perfect for a family or group getaway - everything is well thought out for a pleasant and convenient stay. Relaxing on the patio and going for a stroll in the evening, or a stargazing walk at night were major highlights!
Negative: While this was not a big problem, parking was a bit of an issue. The default option is to park near the entrance to the village (3min walk from the house) , but during our visit (end of July) there were a couple of occasions when there was no space, so we parked in some nooks near the house. This something the owners have no power over, just a feature of the landscape. The drive to and from Palagnedra is also an adventure, with the narrow winding roads. Quality of the roads is quite good though, so not a real problem, just fun driving that needs some focus.
Summary: Great place, great owners, highly recommended!
