Positive: I stay regularly in Vila do Bispo. This house has been one of the best. Well located, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Southern Algarve has experienced the most rainfall in a decade. A good deal of it during the week of our stay. Houses are built to keep cool in the summer. We were very grateful for the unexpected heating provision in the sitting room and bathroom during this colder period of rain. And the mats for the cold floors! There was a brief issue with Internet connection. It was resolved quickly and efficiently. Thank you.
Negative: Very minor...... Rain kept coming in under the front door, soaking the mat and sitting room floor. This is probably an uncommon event considering the normal climate for VdB. A pair of kitchen scissors to open packets with would be useful. Rubbish segregation is haphazard in VdB. Some help with this within the house would be useful eg. supply more than one rubbish bag/container to separate bottles/cartons/general waste. House instructions were helpful with the colour coding of municipal bins but without a way to separate rubbish in the house itself.
