Positive: Our host could not have been more helpful. There were clear instructions to the property and to retrieve the keys. She sent a text message on top of the messages via Booking.com to be sure I received them. The heating was on ahead of our arrival, which was great because it was incredibly cold outside. There were lots of little touches all over the house on the Harry Potter theme, even the Christmas tree had HP decorations! All the beds were very comfortable, even the fold-down sofa, which was also comfortable as a sofa. There was loads of hot water, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean. Because of the cold weather, the wood pellet stove was running on overtime and we got an error message to clear the brazier. The host called straight away and talked us through the procedure. Super responsive and super helpful. A convenience store/bakery is less than 100m from the house. There are nice walks nearby, as well as the Lac des Sapins.
Negative: Personal preference : it might be nice to have a dishwasher in place of the washing machine?
Summary: You don't have to be a Harry Potter fan to love this place!
