Positive: The property was as described - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There were only 2 of us so we could use the second bedroom as an office as it had a good size desk. The kitchen was well equipped and we happily cooked in. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. There was a balcony terrace but it was north facing so didn't get the sun. The garage was a bit of a trek to get to, under the building, but it was great to have a decent size, secure parking space. The supermarket under the apartment building was great and super handy. I had the best steak I've ever eaten from the meat counter there. We thought the price was excellent value compared to other places we stayed in on our trip.
Negative: The property was in a large block which was a bit soulless and dated. The walls were relatively thin so you could hear the neighbours and their yappy dogs at certain times, but this wasn't a big issue. The area was a good base but not particularly inspiring in itself.
Summary: A clean, comfortable base for exploring the local area.
