Positive: The location is absolutely fantastic – right opposite Krakowska Gate and literally at the entrance to Lublin’s beautiful Old Town. My room had a wonderful direct view of the Gate, which made the stay feel quite special. Everything in the Old Town is within easy walking distance, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. An excellent base for exploring Lublin.
Negative: The check-in instructions could be clearer. Guests need to go into the Carmelito café downstairs, where the staff provides the access codes. It would be very helpful if this were clearly explained in the check-in instructions. The curtains could also be improved, as they do not fully cover the windows. Because there are streetlights very close to the building, quite a lot of light enters the room at night, making it difficult to get the room properly dark. One thing worth mentioning for future guests is that this is a very central location, right by the Old Town, so the area can be lively and noisy, particularly in the evening. This is understandable given the fantastic location, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.
