Summary: We were immediately at ease when Tavanna messaged to give us so ideas for stops on the drive. Both Tone and Tavanna met us on arrival and showed us around; the beach is truly so close! We loved making fires on the beach, collecting eggs with Tone and the Gorge walk. The apartment was well set up and the kids enjoyed having their own room. Wifi is slow (but this is NZ, so that makes sense) and there is no oven, but it was very comfortable for the 3 nights we stayed.We loved staying here with our kids and would happily do so again. The hosts are so welcoming but give you your space and it is truly amazing to have your own private beach (or do it feels!).
