Summary: Wife wanted to check out Osoyoos for snowbirds. tried to book a two night stay there but overpriced and limited selections. I got the bright idea to stay stateside as more selection and more reasonable prices. We were boycotting going to USA but weakened. Oroville is ten minutes from Osoyoos on the same lake. Very nice poolside kitchenette room..would make a good place to stay for extended. 24/7 border crossing..no hassles. Found eating cheaper on Canadian side. Can't get pre-existing condition medical coverage out of Canada so was a bit of a gamble on that. Would do it again though. Be glad when Trump is out of there!
