Positive: The apartment was functional, reasonably clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen, although the kitchen takes up most of the living room. The location was good but quite touristy, with many restaurants nearby and just a 5-minute walk to Notre Dame. Communication with the host was fine.
Negative: The apartment is plain, with no style or personality you would expect when staying in Paris. White walls, almost no furniture, and no nightstands—you literally have to put your phone on the floor. No toiletries were provided, not even soap. A €600 deposit is required, the internet was unstable from time to time. Guests are asked to return the keys to the same store where they were picked up during check-in, with a €50 fee if not returned. I don’t think this is a reasonable request—it’s an unnecessary hassle to stop by the store on the way out, especially with luggage and having to go downstairs just to return the keys. There should be a better solution.
Summary: Plain apartment with no Parisian charm but functional; good location, though very touristy.
