Positive: The welcome was warm and inviting and the room was gorgeous with a bath right in the bedroom. There are only 6 rooms and were worried that we could hear someone screaming and shouting in another room at around 5pm, but thankfully it was very quiet at night. The walk in shower was great with 2 independant shower heads, one of which was a giant rain shower head. The bed was super comfy with 2 different types of pillows to choose from. For a 2 night stay, the room had everything we needed. We got a taxi from the train station as it was raining heavily. During our stay we caught bus no 23 which stopped around the corner and was very convenient. The hotel fixed the breakfast issue and provided us with a credit of £40 per day to spend at Coffee & Culture next door, we were grateful for this gesture.
Negative: When we made our booking, it said that breakfast was included. We realised after we'd gone out on Friday evening that there was no mention of breakfast so we messaged the hotel via their app. They confirmed that breakfast wasn't included which was disappointing - see above as the hotel recitified this very quickly. There was a bright green light in the ceiling of our room which was so bright it was like having a light on all night. Also we could not get the TV remote to work, even after we were shown how to use it.
