Positive: We had the place for ourselves, just me and my 2 grown-up kids. I suppose, they love the place more as they wanted to live like the locals. So, the place does meet their expectation - the futons, the sliding door, the rooms, etc. I don't have pictures, but the ones from the site are exactly how the house and rooms look like ;)
Negative: It is not a bad thing, but, it was the cold that I dislike. While the owner provided the heater, it was insufficient for me to heat the full room. There is a air-con for heater which supposedly gives heat outside the rooms, but it was still cold. I suppose that I would enjoy the stay more, if it in a different season other than winter.
Summary: Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The friendly welcome from the owner gave us some warmth, at least.
