Positive: The hosts are fantastic—smart, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely eager to please. Their English is good enough for complex discussions but they are also happy to let you improve your French if you prefer. Breakfast is excellent. Bed comfy, room nice.
Negative: So many French villages are gorgeous that Champagney suffers in comparison, but if you need lodging in this area and would like to quickly become good friends to a lovely French couple, this is your place. Great experience!
