The cottage sleeps four people and comprises of two bedrooms, one double and one adult bunks room. There is a modern fitted kitchen encompassing a large L-shaped island unit and seating and finally a modern family bathroom. Outside there is a communal lawned garden, a garage for bikes and surfboard storage and off road parking for one car. Afton Dairy Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the whole of the Isle of Wight, or simply relaxing on one of the beaches nearby.

Summary: Clean, but details need attention. Loose kitchen plinth; poor TV sound; bedroom curtains long and trip hazard; teapot was dirty; floor looked dusty; oven didn't heat above 150 C; seating was either too low (settees) or too high (bar stools); recycling instructions not clear - no recycle bin and no clear bags supplied; parking hit and miss - there was a space if not too many cars arrived at once. On the positive side, a peaceful location and bed clean and comfortable. We felt strongly that, given the negative elements, our first week of September was overpriced.
