Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Nijo market is literally just across the street. Most of Sapporo's destination highlights are also within walking distance. There's a family mart that opens till late right behind the building which makes it very convenient for late night travelers.
Negative: It took me more than an hour lurching around in the middle of the night trying to find the property. Although the host have originally emailed the location of the building, because it is a private residential, it's not a known building and my taxi driver and I had a tough time finding it. I'm glad that we are in Japan, a relatively safe country and the driver didn't give up and leave me on the streets with my luggages and snowboard bag. The hosts were aware of my arrival time, but did not respond to messages. I'm not sure how other guests managed to find the place but I suggest that the manual be edited to include "Sunshine Sports Club" as the location. Sunshine Sports Club is just across the street from the host's building and it makes it easy for taxis to find.
