Positive: We stayed at this property for the second time, spending a number of weeks there. The house itself is authentically Italian with rustic interiors and in a beautiful countryside location. The house is extremely well maintained and the attention to detail is outstanding, the hosts have considered everything! The garden area is wonderful and the pool is spotlessly clean, with maintenance provided daily. The hosts are amazingly helpful, contacting us ahead of our stay to organise any requests and to ensure we are comfortable. They were contactable throughout our stay for any queries. The house: The house is well laid out with plenty of space for a family/ group. The beds are very comfortable and shutters on all windows ensure security, privacy and darkness for a great night's sleep! Every room has a television with access to Netflix as well as all local channels. The garden: The garden area is outstanding, it is a very well maintained large space with secure walls/ fencing all around and an automatic gate. There are two seating areas under shades which are wonderful for relaxing. There are swings/ slide and a playhouse which our toddler son adored! The pool is nice and big, the fact it is raised helped us feel secure as our son could run and play freely in the garden without having to worry about him falling in. The pool is cleaned and checked daily and as a result it is sparkling at all times! Services: We employed a babysitter as recommended by the host on numerous occasions and we were thrilled with the level of care and kindness displayed to our son, he really enjoyed her company with activities set to match his needs and interests. We were able to leave him knowing that he was safe and having a great time! We also travelled with our dog who was welcome to stay, a toy was even provided for him on arrival! Location: The house is located in a beautiful small village outside of Lucca with some shops and restaurants within walking distance.
