Summary: Everything about this lovely property was exactly as advertised. We highly recommend it and will absolutely return in the future! The hosts were friendly, helpful, accommodating, and patiently endured our bad French (it may have been more convenient to them to switch to their English, which is better than our French). We cannot begin to say enough nice things about them. Our stay took place during a particularly hot week, so our daily visit to the pool, set in a lovely garden, was an essential part of our routine, sometimes the high point of the day. As birdwatchers, the quiet, rural location was a treasure trove of beautiful avian life. As tourists, the location made a convenient base from which we made easy journeys to Arles, Avignon, the Camargue, Pont du Gard, and Les Baux. For longer day trips, the hill towns of the Luberon were within driving range (as measured by our North American experience, that is). Lastly, we took full advantage of our hosts' advice on where to get the best quality examples of the local and regional produce (fruit, vegetables, and wines). It was amazing.
