Eclectic style of Sarasota in this 1947/2012 split design home. Over 3400 sq ft of single level space. Eat in kitchen connected to large dining room, 2 separate living rooms, tv room, mudroom with game table, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an office.
Throughout the house you will find large windows, beautiful natural light, high ceilings and plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable and still feel connected.
Home comes with high speed internet and smart tvs.
Enjoy exercise and play year round in our saltwater heated pool.
Update from SUMMER 2024: This property now has a fully enclosed pool fence with locking gate. The perfect safety feature when traveling with kids or pets.
(Reservations over 14 days have the option of no fencing if desired)
Primary Bedroom: King size bed, huge walk in closet, full bathroom with lighted led mirror, large shower with 8ft rainfall shower head and shower wand, dual sinks and a secret chute into the laundry room. The en-suite bathroom is as my husband says, "A tall man's dream!" thanks to its generous height and sizing. The master suite has over 10ft tall ceilings and natural light from windows at the top as well as a ceiling fan.
Second Bedroom: Queen bed & triple bunk bed. Perfect for families traveling with children, this room will sleep two adults and three kids.
Third Bedroom: Queen bed
A bathroom with shower is attached to the hall.
There is a full laundry room with washer and dryer as well.
The kitchen and dining area are perfect for hosting dinner parties and the dining table seats 8 comfortably. The kitchen is equip with all standard amenities, plenty of storage and a walk-in pantry space with wine/beverage fridge.
There is a door leading outside and windows wrapping around with a view of the pool, patio and sunsets. A smart TV is mounted to the rear wall of the kitchen.
This home is a time capsule of late 1940's Sarasota charm in its design and architecture as well as a grand vision for modern eclectic. The second half of this home was designed in 2012, by a prolific local architect. This creative wing boasts 10ft ceilings throughout, sky lights, sunlight tunnels, painted cement floors, wide open space and enormous 10 foot tall Chinese saloon style doors to welcome you into the master suite. Safe to say, you won't see a space like this anywhere else.
Art from local Sarasota artists are hung on the walls and local amenities are listed in our welcome booklet.
The driveway can fit 2 or more cars. There is no garage on the property.
There is a storage building on the property that is not accessible to guests. It is used to keep lawn and pool equipment.
Two separate AC/Heat units keep the space comfortable year round.

60 day minimum required if booking more than ten months in advance.

Summary: This house was terrific as were all communications we had with the property manager (and owner). Beds were comfortable as was the furniture. We were able to set up 2 work stations and not interfere with each other’s calls. (The printer came in handy for the few times a real signature was needed). We easily accommodated family and friends for a small gathering and overnights. The pool was heated to a comfortable temperature - though the mottled ducks seemed to like it too. The house is light and spacious. It allowed us and our guests to spread out indoors and out. And the Sarasota County Pompano pickleball courts are 10 minutes away. We hope to return!
