When you stay in one of our inflatable bubbles on the farm with an enormous pool, not only do you get to experience something new and exciting, you also have access to so many fun things to do! The coolest part? The top is transparent so you can fall asleep wishing on a star.This inflatable bubble is anchored to a sturdy wooden deck and inflated with an air blower.Inside you’ll find a cozy king bed that can comfortably sleep up to three guests (2 adults and 1 child).There is air conditioning and heating inside as well as a full private bathroom. The bathroom even has a clawfoot tub! Toiletries are provided for you during your stay. The bubble is located in Sam Houston National Forest on a beautiful ranchette of almost 8 acres. On the ranchette you’ll be able to see chickens, turkeys (seasonal), goats, pigs, rabbits and a garden near the home as well as livestock grazing in the pastures. Wildlife is present in the forest so there are some food restrictions inside the bubble to keep you safe. (See “rules to keep in mind”)A pathway that is clear during the day and perfectly lit for your convenience at night, takes you directly to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. There, you will have access to a BBQ pit, an outdoor pavilion, pool, hot tub and pool house. If you’d like to have some fun, games like corn hole, oversized connect four, water volleyball and horseshoes for you to enjoy. If you’d like to relax, kick back in a hammock and take a nap in the fresh breeze.The fire pit is open to all guests! Feel free to make s’mores, hot dogs, burgers or whatever you’d like! Campfires are the perfect way to end any summer day.If you would prefer not to stay in a fully transparent bubble, we have an additional 2 partially transparent bubbles listed to choose from.Backyard including pool and you are welcomed to interact with the farm animals. Interactions with the neighbor's animals are strictly prohibited.Please note that this is a working Ranchette (albeit quiet and serene) and there are 2 other bubbles so there may be other guests. We do ask you to respect others' privacy as we ask them to respect yours. Persons will be working around the ranchette during your stay. We will give you your privacy. If you choose to, you are welcomed to chat with us.A ranching community in Sam Houston National Forest. Along with the cattle in the fields, the occasional clanging of personal safety devices can be heard in the distance from personal ranges as the second amendment is very important to this neighborhood.Personal vehicles (rentals included) are the primary and most reliable mode of transportation. Uber (which may take 40 mins or more to arrive) is the only other option.Rules to keep in mind:Shoes are not to be worn in the bubble, a shoe rack is provided. We want to ensure that there are no holes or anything that could cause the bubble to deflate.Smoking or exposed flames - i.e. cigarettes, candles is prohibited.This ensures that the bubble stays clean and clear. The flames can be a hazard and cause melting and other damage to the bubble.Food is restricted in the bubble; coffee, tea, drinks and wines are acceptable. There are wild animals within the forest. We want them to stay in their home and away from yours! The food and smells can bring the curious animals in, so leave it out! Please note that the property is fenced and cross-fenced for added safety.No flushing anything other than bodily excrements down the toilets. The ranchette runs on a septic system and cannot handle other objects being flushed.The main house and Norton’s Shop are off limits to guests. Please be respectful of the other guests and the owners that live on the property.No pets or service animals allowed. This is for the safety of your animals as we do not wish them to be the main course of wild animals.To ensure that these rules are read and agreed upon before booking, the password "Pocahontas" may be requested.
