Positive: The location is nice, "far out in the woods". The garden is ok with lots of birds (but not a nuthatch in sight ("sitelles" as the name of the cottage suggests), a bbq and garden furniture
Negative: The house has no cellar and is cold and damp. The stairs are more like a miller's ladder and the top bedroom is either too cold in winter or too warm in summer. In the bedroom on the first floor I could touch the ceiling with my head... I brought my own wood for the stove and heating costs were still a day's rent! All the small towns around were just brain dead... And nearby France closed to foreigners
Summary: Garden and surrounding woods are very nice. The house has no cellar and is cold and damp.
