Positive: Broni is a good base to visit Pavia and its wine growing region. The flat is on the top floor of a small, welcoming and clean block of flats ( there is a lift but we hardly ever felt the need to use it), with air conditioning in the bedroom. There is very good security (gates and doors), and a designated parking space at the foot of the block of flats (off-road). We really liked the flat for many reasons: very clean, attention to detail from the owner (enough good quality sweet- smelling towels, enough toilet paper, kitchen toilet and cleaning products, olive oil, salt etc). Good shower, washing-machine. Good internet, TV. Nice family pizzeria about 10 min walk (cheap too). Nice and friendly bar with outdoor comfortable lounge seats a few minutes on foot. Several little supermarkets a few minutes walk. (or 3 min. by car). Very friendly, English-speaking host. At the end of our 4 day stay, we were able to buy a few bottles of wine from the owner's family - their son came specially to bring us the bottles - as we had not had time to do the visit (advertised on the internet). A most interesting part of our holiday! We will definitely come back if we ever are in this part of Italy again and we wholeheartedly recommend this property.
Negative: Nothing Perhaps as a suggestion for future guests: a kettle ( which seems standard in most places but not in Italy). This is really a very small point, though.
Summary: Excellent flat, excellent base to visit Pavia.
