There is an adorable nest for 2 in the main floor Queen bedroom, and a spacious loft where there are 2 full beds Enjoy the sun filled deck with your morning coffee, or an evening sunset sip of wine on the screen porch. If you choose, sit by the fire pit and watch the sun go down and breathe in the mountain air! There are two tiny homes to choose from, or book both for a family get away!

A piece of history preserved on the land this property sits on!
On this land sat a 100 + year old farmhouse surrounded by stacked stone walls. Unfortunately the home had seen better times, and as much as we wanted to save it, we could not. So we did the next best thing.
We lovingly reclaimed the wood and doors and much of the character of the house and gave it a new life in our tiny homes. We hope others will enjoy the history and beauty of not only our property, but the rich history of the area.

Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.
We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. We have a handy Welcome Book in the house full of Places to dine, Things to Do, Shopping, Hiking and Waterfall Trails. Wineries abound; they’re everywhere! And a short 25 min drive to the Bavarian themed town of Helen for tubing or zip lining.
There are several excellent boat rental places in the area! We use Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters... The fellas will help you out! All kinds of water toys too like jet skis, standup paddle boards and kayaks.
Hike or drive to the apex of Bell Mountain, which overlooks Lake Chatuge below and provides picturesque mountain views. Shooting Creek Overlook is breathtaking. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Jackrabbit Mountain and Chatuge Dam. Both Towns County (Hiawassee GA) and Clay County (Hayesville NC) have super parks and beaches. Trailheads of the Appalachian Trail, which spans from Georgia to Maine, are less than 10 miles from this home.

Downtown Hayesville is simply charming, and Hiawassee is around the corner. There are many more outdoor activities to partake in all over the area, from hiking at Bell Mountain to golfing at Chatuge Shores Golf Course. If you're willing to venture further, take a scenic drive to Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Georgia!
Closer to town is the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds that hosts the Georgia Mountain Fair each summer. Be sure to stop by Main Street to peruse the charming shops, quaint antique stores, and tasty restaurants.
