Summary: Turned up staff were really friendly however the room had a massive lizard in as soon as the door was opened. Not a massive deal but the mattress is on the floor. Then sitting on the bed notice a cockroach running around and then another. Due to this felt really uneasy staying there as they can make you extremely ill. We ended up booking an alternative hotel and leaving 2 hours after checking in. Not offered a change of room or refund. Whilst I understand this hotel is more of a jungle outdoorsy vibe, the holes in the floors of the bungalow made it so easy for things to get inside. I do think they need a bit of TLC so bugs don’t get in the rooms.
