This stately 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom guest house is located on Hwy. 52 East, just before you reach the four corners in Allardt. This historic home offers a huge lawn, perfect for family gatherings. It has pleasant porches where guests can enjoy the beautiful setting, singing birds, and fall colors, and quiet setting. Another porch is off the kitchen where there is an enclosed parking area.
This lovely home is conveniently located to all things outdoors. Covering this area are numerous state and national parks with some of the biggest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. Big South Fork, Colditz Cove and Pickett State Park are all within a short driving distance. Hiking, fishing, hunting, ATV riding, rafting, and canoeing are just some of the outdoor activities you can find in this wonderful location.
The home has been lovingly decorated with antiques, chandeliers, and touches such as an antique violin over the piano in the living room. The guesthouse is conveniently located near all the area's attractions, restaurants and historic sites. The guesthouse also offers a large formal dining room and a huge living room with piano, television, and comfortable furniture is a great place for guests to relax and enjoy each other's company. There is a modern kitchen with all the modern appliances including stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor with adjoining bath. Hardwood floors sparkle throughout the house and an open staircase leads to the large second floor. Here you'll find three additional bedrooms and bath. All rooms have huge closets, cozy decor, and interesting mementos from the original owners of the home.
