Our much loved cottage has been totally renewed and is now a brand new luxury beach house.
Please note: reviews on this site are for the old property which was a lovely, quaint little cottage. We know you'll love the new place even more!
The Pondok is a brand new house, completed in September 2023 after a total rebuild. Architecturally designed with great attention to detail and love, combining traditional and modern features. The Pondok is the perfect place for a beach getaway.
Located in the heart of beautiful Scotts Head, this stunning home is just a short 300m walk to the beaches, cafes, shops, and Club Scotts.
The house features three bedrooms, all with ensuites, as well as a self-contained granny flat with pool / ping pong table (optional- extra charges apply). The main bedroom has a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom which includes a bath. Bedroom 2 is a queen bedroom and bedroom 3 is a double. Downstairs there is a pull down queen size 'Murphy Bed' with access to another bathroom. The granny flat (optional) has a queen-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a kitchenette.
There are also two spacious living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs, with multiple outdoor decks perfect for enjoying the views or relaxing with a drink at sunset.
The house is fully air-conditioned and has a heated plunge pool, a barbecue, NBN WiFi and in the winter a wood burning fire. It is also fully solar powered with battery storage.
Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, weekend away with friends or a corporate retreat, Pondok is the perfect place to stay.
The house is located on a quiet street, close to all the amenities that you need.
The beach is a great place to swim, surf, or relax. There are also several walking trails in the area.
The town of Scotts Head has a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes.
The house is pet-friendly (upon request).

OPTION OF 'THE CAVE'
'The Cave' is an air conditioned converted double garage. It is now fully self contained with a kitchenette and bathroom. There is also direct access to the bathroom from outside so you can step straight into the shower when you come back from the beach.
'The Cave' can accommodate up to four people in a queen bed and couch that converts to a double bed. 'The Cave' has a living space with television etc.
It also has a dart board, Giant Jenga set AND a pub sized pool table that converts to a table tennis table. It is a great teenage retreat as well as fun for all the family!!!

PLEASE NOTE: We do not rent The Pondok and The Cave separately. So if you opt for The Cave NOT to be included, there will not be other guests staying there at the time of your stay.
